- Download and unzip file.
- Load the “SDT_v12_Installer.exe” program.
- Copy the “SDTv17.exe” the same folder or to the desktop.
- Plug in a micro usb to usb cord into laptop. Laptop should recognize a new usb device.
- Open the “SDTv17.exe”
- Some people are having a “Component MSFLXGRD.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or not registered.” This file is provided in the zip file. Here is a page dedicated to this error.
- Some people are having a “Component COMDLG32.OCX or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or not registered.” Here is a page dedicated to this error with file link.
- Goto laptop “Devices and Printers” in settings of the sdt usb device. It will say which port you are connected to. Note the port #. In the SDT program select the COM port from above. Then under file select “Connect to SDT”.
- Note: Changes to the SDT VE map are real time. Currently you have to use the direction arrows and the +- buttons to change the map.
- To load a saved map or a provided map (ex: idle and rev fix SDT map) goto the top menu bar >file and load map.
