Installation Instructions 91-93 US 3000GT VR4<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jumper setup: The 91-93 US VR4 PNP ECU can reverse the primary O2 sensors by changing the jumpers.<\/p>\n

Stock setup for all US VR4 and GTOs is pictured below. If the jumpers are turned 90 degrees this switches the O2s. If your ecu jumpers do not look like the setup below double check your ecu version.<\/a><\/p>\n

Step 1-<\/strong> With car off, remove stock ecu(See A) from behind center console.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step<\/strong>2- Install red wire into pin 77 of car side plug. See plug pinout below as viewed looking at ecu.<\/p>\n

Step3-<\/strong> Plug the 3 stock plugs and the supplied gray 12 pin plug with pre-installed yellow wire into PNP ecu.<\/p>\n

Step 4-<\/strong> Route the yellow and red wires to the stock OBD1 connector by the fuse box under the driver side dash.<\/p>\n

Step5-<\/strong> Plug the yellow wire in the back of the OBD1 connector pin 6 (Corner).<\/p>\n

Step6-<\/strong> Plug the red wire in pin 2.<\/p>\n

Your car is now converted to a Flash Ecu running Chrome. It is a full OBD2 ecu. You can now use any OBD2 reader or the Tactrix 2.0 cable to reflash or datalog your car when using the supplied adapter.\u00a0 The adapter does not have to be installed unless you are datalogging, reflashing or reading the OBD2 codes\/data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<\/colgroup>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
